Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) is a multidisciplinary approach to deterring criminal behavior through environmental design. CPTED applies to both new and existing schools and is built on strategies and solutions to promote safety, orderly behavior, and a reduction of fear in the school environment. Do you recognize areas of concern in your school and are unsure how to approach the issue? Is it a goal of yours to ensure the crime prevention aspects of your school events are properly covered, assessed and/or addressed? Our stakeholders expect educational institutions be a safe place for children to attend classes and events. How safe is your school campus and events?
