OSROA is proud to be a training provider in Ohio that focuses on the school-based policing officers and deputies and school staff who protect our children and staff in schools. OSROA continues to provide training to SROs, DARE Officers, Command Staff, School Administrators, School Safety Officers, School Safety Directors, Educators, EMA, Bus Drivers and more.

OSROA is a nonprofit association that provides beneficial school safety training.

How does OSROA select training to be offered? OSROA primarily focuses upon the SRO Basic Training, Advanced SRO, School Based Policing Supervisor, Social Media for School Based Policing, and the new SRO Refresher (currently in development) courses. OSROA continually offers other courses of interest for school safety professionals.

Who are the OSROA instructors? OSROA instructors are knowledgeable and experienced subject matter experts who provide excellent educational experience. OSROA conducts a detailed search for the best.

When does OSROA schedule training? OSROA schedules training in alignment with presenters’ availability and attempts to schedule within the best times of the year for schools and LE agencies.

Does OSROA offer training to others? Yes. Some training courses are for law enforcement and school safety personnel only, but OSROA does offer training for other stakeholders who are not commissioned law enforcement.
